Instructions for making.
Chinese Medicinal Herbs teas.
- Take the Chinese Herbs whole or powdered & place into a large stainless steel or ceramic pot. (other metals can leach into the herbs such as aluminum or copper).
- Add 8 cups of water which should be enough to submerge the herbs in the pot.
- Certain herbs may be instructed to add at the beginning or end of cooking.
- Typically herbs are cooked on a low-rolling boil for about 45min then strained.
- Once the tea is strained & allowed to cool it is imbibed.
- The tea should be warm or slightly hot when taken.
- The typical dosage is 1cup 2x a day 15 minutes before meals.
- The same cooked herbs can make one more pot of tea. Just cover the pot of herbs after drinking all the liquid. This time add only 6 cups of water, rolling boil for only 20-30 minutes, strain & drink.
Powdered/Granules herbal formulas.

Powdered or Granular Chinese Medicinal Herbs come in a 4oz bottle.
Additionally, they should last about 3-4 weeks if taken 2x daily as a tea.
For Chinese Medicinal Herbs, the dosage depends on the individual patient.
But the standard is 2 teaspoons 2x a day in 8oz of hot water.
This is about 15 minutes before meals.
